The mission of the steel industry today is to help increase economic growth, maintain employment and turn the cycles of the national economy, and from this perspective, a critical period is ahead for the industry. Mobarakeh Steel Company, Hamidreza Azimian, CEO of the company, emphasizing that globalization and having a competitive industry is one of the biggest issues in the country’s industry and economy,

in response to a question about the steps of Mobarakeh Steel in the field of production leap, said: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution has been named the “Leap of Production”. A year in which the most severe international sanctions against the Iranian economy are supposed to form a leap forward in the Iranian economy, and until today, five months after the year, the objective manifestation of this has been revealed in some industrial and mining sectors, especially steel.

Iran, with its young and educated forces, access to the region’s 400 million-strong market, and the existence of internal capacities, such as mines and strategic routes, has great potential in various economic fields, and the mining industry, especially steel, is no exception. The fact is that the hostile pressures of the United States in the last 3 years have caused negative economic growth in Iran’s economy, but the body of production and industry has been able to remain stable and not only meet domestic demand, but also send its products to target markets. The period when it is practically impossible to sell oil should have currency for the country. Perhaps it can be said explicitly that this is the resistance that symbolizes the high resilience of the Iranian economy.

*** Leap production of the main strategy

He added: “In the meantime, the important point is that now in the shadow of the most severe and unprecedented sanctions against the Iranian economy,” production leap “is considered the main strategy of the country and various industrial and manufacturing sectors have realized that Not only must they not stop, they must move in the direction of development. But we should not lose sight of the fact that the current situation is far from the desired point, because in the last 3 years, the growth of the real sector of the country’s economy is negative and the International Monetary Fund predicts this trend will continue until the end of 1999 in the Iranian economy. And economic growth should reach minus 5 percent, but the conditions caused by the outbreak of coronavirus should also be taken into account.

It is important to note that from a scientific point of view, the Iranian economy is now in a period of stagflation, and what the country needs in this period is new investments and the development of productive and upstream industries. Macroeconomic indicators and projected growth show that the country’s industry, despite its significant potential, needs serious and substantial support, especially as industries have withstood sanctions and financial pressures over the past two years and have not allowed the country’s employment situation to be in crisis. Face to face.

    *** Prerequisites for continued production

Azimian said: “The mutational movement of production also has preconditions for continuity that should not be kept in mind.” One of the most important issues that has been raised in the Iranian economy in the last decade is the issue of how to support industries. Some economists believe that supporting industry means injecting resources into them, that is, they see supporting industry only in terms of financial issues. The second group believes that industries need to remove production barriers more than financial resources. Perhaps a decade ago, each of these solutions could have worked individually, but today, in the midst of sanctions, industries need financial and structural support. Of course, removing all kinds of barriers to production, such as facilitating social security, tax, customs and banking conditions in favor of more production and employment for the country, is prior to any action.

The government should consider changing trends and procedures at this time when the pressures of sanctions are on industry, especially since changing these conditions does not require resources and does not depend on conditions beyond borders and sanctions. In this situation, the leap in production, job creation and helping people make a living depends on removing barriers to production. From a macroeconomic point of view, the position of the steel industry is not different from that of other industries in the country, but the pressure of sanctions on these industries has intensified, and an example of this is the US Treasury, which tries to identify financial trends of any person or company Communication is grounded. However, the path of development in this sector has not stopped and it can not be stopped.

*** With power in the path of development

The CEO of Mobarakeh Steel added: “Meanwhile, the development of the country’s steel industry is taking place at a time when the position of the national economy is sensitive in every way, both the corona is changing trends and behaviors, and sanctions are constantly being piled on top of each other.” However, during this period, several great achievements have been recorded in the record of the country’s steel industry. One of the most important and strategic of these is the admirable participation of the steel industry in the commissioning of the Goreh-Jask oil pipeline.

For the first time in the history of the country’s economy, suitable steel pipes for transporting sour oil in the country have been produced with the help of Mobarakeh Steel and Folad oxin. This has saved millions of dollars in the country, and in addition, the steel industry has taken several steps forward in terms of production technology and manufacturing experience. Azimian continued: “At the same time, launching the hot-rolled super project No. 2 is another great success that has been registered in the record of Mobarakeh Steel and basically the country’s steel industry.”

This action is a “production, continuity and hope scan” for Mobarakeh Steel. By launching a hot rolling super project

Mara 2 The production capacity of hot coils in Mobarakeh Steel will reach 7.2 million tons, and based on this, we will not only be free from imports, but we will also be able to export. Even today, some of the sheets needed by the automotive, oil and gas, and piping and home appliances industries are produced domestically. Simultaneously with the opening of hot rolling mill No. 2, significant employment will be created for the youth of the country.

    *** Concluding remarks

Fortunately, the steel industry, especially Mobarakeh Steel, continues to grow strongly, as exemplified by the growth of Mobarakeh Steel’s operating profit, which reached a remarkable 62% last year. Last year, steel export sales grew by 146 percent and the weight of steel sales increased by 5 percent and reached 6 million and 130 thousand tons. In April of this year, steel sales grew by 11% and even the performance of steel stocks has been accompanied by a return of more than 240% this year.

However, Mobarakeh Steel Company, as the largest steel company in the country, with about 3 decades of experience in the production of various flat steel products, has played a pivotal role in the industrial, economic and social development of the country. The company had a remarkable performance in 1998 with the production of 7.5 million tons of steel products, and in the same year, it had an additional growth of 12.5 percent compared to the plan and 67 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
