One of the most official and authoritative sources of steel reporting by countries is the World Steel Association, or in other words, World Steel, which provides monthly and annual reports on the steel performance of countries. Global crude steel production for the 64 countries reported by the World Steel Association was 150.2 million tonnes in February 2021, up 4.1% from a year earlier. Global crude steel production for 2020 reached 1864.0 million tons, down 0.9 percent from 2019. In the following, we will discuss the details of this report. Please be with Artan Press.

China is estimated to produce 83.0 million tonnes of crude steel in February 2021, up 10.9% from February 2020. India, China’s biggest rival in Asia, produced 9.1 million tonnes of crude steel, down 3.1 percent from a year earlier.

It is estimated that Iran has produced 2.3 million tons, an increase of 11.5 percent. The reason for the growth of Iranian steel production can be considered in the different style of management of industrial enterprises in the Corona period.

*** Conclusion
Steel production growth is expected to resume next year due to the easing of the Corona crisis. But there are challenges along the way. One of the most important challenges in crude steel production in all countries of the world is the increase in production costs due to rising personnel and manpower costs. Humanity is a big challenge in the mines Iron ore is considered on the other hand. Uncertainties due to the distribution of vaccines in steel producing countries is an issue that has led to the current maximum time required for steel production in all countries. We have to wait for 2021 and add various factors to the analysis. Maybe it’s a little early to predict the trend of the year.
