Mobarakeh Steel, Isfahan Steel, Khuzestan Steel, Khorasan Steel, Iran Alloy Steel, Midco, National Iranian Steel Industrial Group, Kaveh South Steel, Chadormelo, Arfa Steel, Bonab Steel and Jahan Steel are the most important destinations in the country. Evaluation of the production of these factories shows that in the first three months of this year, these companies recorded a growth of 9% compared to the same period last year, producing 6 million 183 thousand 726 tons of steel ingots.

The largest producer of steel ingots in Iran is Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel. From the beginning of this year to the end of June, this company has had the highest production with the production of 2 million 685 thousand 410 tons of ingots, equivalent to 43% of the total ingot production. In the peak days of power outages, the company was able to maintain its steel ingot production route due to having a separate power plant. So it was not far from expected that less than half of the production of Iranian steel ingots would pass through the channel of this company. Kaveh South Steel Company, with the production of 417 thousand and 741 tons of billet ingots, has recorded the highest percentage increase in production (equivalent to 80%) in the mentioned period this year compared to last year.

The growth of steel production is not limited to the field of steel ingots. The record of many steel companies has been rising over the past year. Despite the involvement of all the production elements of the country with the corona virus, we still witnessed the growth of production, even in a small and drip. *** Opportunity for steel exports and three-digit export growth
The international steel market is rising after a significant rise in oil prices. Rising energy prices and growing market demand due to the normalization of the situation of some industrialized countries due to the corona risk has created a very ideal situation for steel exports at the beginning of this year. All steel producing countries try to be more successful in the sales rally than others. Last year, Iran was the tenth largest steel producer in the world. Of course, this has its advantages and disadvantages. But in general, if production is accompanied by planning, we can say that many problems of the industry will be solved.
In the export sector, according to statistics provided by large steel companies, from the beginning of this year to the end of June, they exported over two million tons of steel, which is 128% more than their exports in the same period last year. Removing some of the export barriers that have been on the agenda since Trump was one of them The most important reasons for the triple-digit growth of Iran’s steel exports.
